How long until he is ready to play? 6 years? 4? 2? Going to start as a TF against Clemson? One thing for certain, show out in game one next year and it could be a legend in the making. Unlikely to happen given out track record against teams with a pulse but hope springs eternal.

We have been down this road recently. Eason was going to save Richt. Fields/Mathis/Newman/Fields/Beck were all the answers at one time. Bennett is our starting QB. Hell, even Bennett was the answer at one point this year LOL. I hope dude makes Trevor Lawrence look like a game manager but past experience indicates that he will win 9-10 games a season and maybe a bowl game at UGA and come up just shy of expectations. That is OK. It is what 129 of 130 teams in CFB do every year. It is what we have done in what, 126 of 128 seasons???

UGA won 13,11, and 12 games in 17-19. Lets hope for a strong grad transfer for 2021.

Perhaps expectations need to be tempered and be a bit more reasonable.

It could be announced tomorrow that Stephen Hawking - current condition - was going to be an incoming freshman quarterback, and more than a few people would still expect a title out of him.
