I get that but have we/Gus really "developed" Tank? Not really. Dude is just good and that is easy to see. Look at the backs that Georgia and Alabama has had over the past 10 years. They both have had two or three "Tanks" on the roster at one time for 10 years.

I was once told by a high school coach. "No jackass has ever won the Kentucky Derby". You can develop players, you can get the most out of them but in the end, talent matters

Andy Russell, the linebacker with the Steelers said Noll had been coach for about a week when he called the team in. He said "Ive been watching a lot of film. The problem is not your work ethic or mental effort....you just arent that good and Im going to have to get rid of many of your. Russell said "four years later we were in the Super Bowl.....well the five of us left from that first meeting".
