Those of us old enough to see him play genuinely liked him. Hated that he won some games against us, teased about “Wrong Way Bo.”
He was always a cool guy. Hated when his pro career was cut short. He would have definitely been in the NFL HoF if he doesn’t get hurt.

I think pound for pound the best running back ever... and I got to watch Sweetness, Erick Dickerson, Earl Campbell, and Herschel. I certainly hate that injury. He’d have long been in the HOF.
