I just made asparagus soup last week. 
I’m old enough to have only eaten the canned variety when I was a kid. I actually liked it better than fresh at first- now I love them both but I eat fresh probably 90% of the time.

piggilicious, I'm going to need this so-called recipe for this so-called asparagus stalk "soup"
I can't trust google and I'm boiling some stalks right now and I'm not optimistic on the whole thing
