Never should have fired Butch, but keeping him was admitting they weren’t an elite program anymore.

It’s hard for men to admit when they have been passed by even if it’s to their benefit.

He led us to the worst season in school history. Without Dobbs he was exposed and could not recover. The slaw we have on the field right now is from his recruiting class. He had two good classes but attrition ate away at them early (some before their first season even started) and his last two were mediocre as hell. But yeah, we should’ve kept the guy who broke the record of never having gone winless in the SEC.

He absolutely threw away what should’ve been 2 SEC divsion titles with guys like Dobbs, Alvin Kamara and Derek Barnett on the team. He had Dobbs last on the depth chart and AK behind Hurd.
