I am inclined to agree with you. Oh sure, get him some playing time but even if Bama's defense is meh this season don't have the biggest game of the season be his first game as starter.

Try to limit Gitmo's ability to screw things up and put Bailey in enough to get him some solid game time experience. Then you trot him out as the starter next week with some confidence.
