It’s the defense Odom has run for a decade and he got wrecked at Mizzu by power run teams. But suddenly he’s gonna change for this game?
It is an interesting question. My recollection is that Mizzou only struggled with great power running teams and I don't think A&M is great in that regard.
Also, it turns out that our depth on defense is much better than we originally thought, because we've been forced to play reserves due to injuries and they have played better than expected. We don't lack the talent on defense that many think we do and we'll return most of those on the injured list for the game. Our D may be the most complete it's been all year for A&M, so we'll probably make lots of substitutions.
I'm expecting to see us run something similar to what we did with Georgia and less like the Mississippi schools. It worked well in the first half, but that game had so many other things going on that it's hard to judge. Regardless, A&M will present us new challenges, but I feel good about Arkansas handling them. Auburn's offense was probably a bigger challenge and I think we could have played much better against them.
