What in the world makes you think Daniels or Mathis is a 1st stringer? God knows who the other QB you might be referring to is. This game was over regardless of who you started at QB.

Neither were. I'm going by the depth chart genius.
1 newman- opted out preseason
2 daniels- not cleared medically until like 10 days ago
3- mathis- healthy and started the season and sucked
4- bennett- former walk-on but available
5- beck- true freshman with no spring or summer practice

An average qb in our O scored 24 points in one half and you think a better than average qb can not turn the ball over and give Bama 21 extra points that changed the game. Did you even watch the game?
