Since Auburn hired Gus in 2013, he has received a little over $34m in salary (as of 12/2019).
During that same time period, Gus has compiled a 34-24 SEC record (including both SEC title appearances).
This dude has collected almost precisely $1m per conference win at Auburn.
For comparison... During the same time period, Saban is 55-6 in SEC play (SEC title appearances & UGA Natty included) with 4 SEC titles and 2 National Championships. He was paid roughly $55m over this time period. Also nearly $1m per SEC win.
(The salary numbers probably aren't exact, I pulled from USA Today records. I also did not calculate in bonuses, etc.)

So we should pay Gus more to get more wins? Who knew buck was such a Gus fan

When comparing production to salary, Gus and Saban both are earning $1m a win. Gus just has far fewer wins. Our return on investment sucks with Gus.
For clarification on my stance, I think we should not pay Gus anymore.

It looks like it is the exact same to me, we just aren't investing as much.

Bama is paying Saban $13.75 million per SEC West titles, SEC Championships, and NC game/CFP appearances.
Who appears to be the better bargain?

Are we really comparing to Saban? Arguably the best coach ever in cfb?
I’m not a crazy Gus fan but it is what it is. It’s not chiz it’s not modern day tubs. He has also given 2 million of his salary to the new football complex
