No, it's not. Flu kills a tiny fraction of the number that covid does each year, but it does so exclusively in the fall and winter (which we're just entering) and it does so without mass efforts at distancing and mask-wearing and the like. If we put the effort into not catching the flu that we have for covid the number of flu deaths would be cut drastically, even with a vaccine.
