Saban is a little overated because he was fortunate to have the players that Dinardo and Shula recruited. He also benefitted by the timing in which he came to both programs regarding recruiting....Spears/Clayton=#1 class and the state of Alabama's rare top-notch HS Sr class. These kids were LSU and Alabama's to lose anyway.
