Maybe, just maybe, we're overreacting a little regarding last night's performance.

It was the worst defensive performance in modern Alabama history. I don't think we are overreacting at all. Outside of the end of the half and the last possession of the game, the only time Ole Miss didn't score were on possessions where their center made bad snaps. Do I think things snowballed on us? Yes. Do I think we'll play this poorly from here on out? No. However, after last year, to come out and look worse than we did in any ballgame last year (even LSU).........I mean I don't know what else to say to that.

They do not look fundamentally sound, they look confused and they look lost. And to top it off, their play-caller hasn't proven in 1 game in his entire career that he can counter anything that anyone does successfully to start a ballgame. I feel completely logical in my assessment that I don't trust them against a semi-legitimate offense at all.

Exactly. It was worse than the Texas A&M game in 2013 when Manziel ran up and down the field.

We have people predicting a loss to Georgia by 20+ points.

That's absolutely overreacting.

There's no denying we looked like shite last night, but some people are acting like we will give up 48 points a game for the remainder of the season.
