If UGA is scoring 38 per game, we may put up 40+ pts.

Our D is allowing only 10pts per game.

Call me crazy but this could be a 42-28 or 42-21 game based purely on the data.

No need to comment with the intangibles that go into the game that could prevent that from happening.

I think the worm may have turned, they have a statue at QB, and we have the mobile guy.

At this point, I don't call for the upset of Bama until we actually do it.

Mobile guy, good decision maker, outstanding defense and playmakers.

If not now when.

I kinda think you need to take the Ole Miss game with a grain of salt. Their offense has carved up everyone they’ve played so far.

UGA is capable of making plays but they aren’t going to suddenly turn into the 2019 LSU offense.

They'll be ready for us. I don't expect their D to be as bad as it was last week since our O isn't nearly as dynamic as the Rebels'.

Kiffin didn't over night make ole miss into a juggernaut.

Pruitt and Smart are taking all the recruits that Bama used to stack on defense and some on o.

We may win or lose but Bama is declining.

This wasn’t promoted because of OM game.

Take them out of the formula and the numbers are the same.

Bama could very well be on the decline to the other posters point.

It started last year and has carried forward.

And yes, they still could beat us handily on Saturday but on paper it’s not that close. That is premise of this thread.

Based on what exactly?

Missouri scored 19 points in the opener and at one point it was 35-3 before Saban pulled Mac Jones and Najee Harris. They put 45 on LSU yesterday.

Texas A&M scored 24 points last week with one drive totaling 17 yards after Mac Jones' lone interception this season. They scored 41 against Florida yesterday.

You misread my title.

Bama D is allowing the other team to score ~10 more pts a game than that team averaged in other games they played before and after playing Bama

So 24 points is more than 41 in your book?

Their defense isn’t great but they aren’t terrible either. The Mailman will need to protect the ball better as that might be the difference.

No. But the disconnect was timing of the data on espn vs when I posted. It refreshed this afternoon for yesterday’s games, making my number of ~10 pts average incorrect now.

Miss has some great athletes on offense, no doubt. Yesterday they moved the ball against Alabama seemingly with ease most of the game. Miss is like some other teams in the conference, they don't know how to play defense. I saw a lot of the Fla/A&M game and those two teams are some of the poorest tackling teams I have seen in a long time. I don't know what they have been practicing but it certainly has not been tackling. Tenn is a much better tackling team than any of the ones mentioned above. And I am saying Georgia is in a class by themselves, when it comes to teams in this conference.

Ole Miss ran all over them...if I recall, nearly 250yds on the ground. A lot of that success was due to some extremely crafty plays and diversions, something we haven't seen from the Dawgs. If we try to run it up the gut 30 times like we did against UT, Bama will stop it.

If we can stop Najee, we can beat Bama. Bama was pulling guards left and right last night...I think we can gameplan well enough to shut down their run game and secondary is strong enough to hold Jones in check, though we have been a bit susceptible to the deep ball (even on incompletions, we've seen receivers get behind the defense but balls are thrown poorly).

We have a vanilla arse offense. This is going to be a low scoring game, imo.
