When Gus said hopefully he would be out there my stomach dropped.
Losing to Arkansas would be absolutely unacceptable.

No worries baw. We will have Shivers to run up the middle for no gain

Well I hope he runs up that middle for an 80 yard touchdown. I guess a difference in thought process.

Yes, I base my opinion on evidence. You live in a fantasy land.

Well if we are truly talking facts. The fact is the kid averages 5.2 yards per carry over his career. You know evidence.
My "hope" is just a wish.
Your takes of "evidence" about Shivers is ignorance. Just like your hot takes on Garner.

More facts -
More evidence for Coach G... taken from the Montgomery Advertiser.
"He has coached 30 future NFL players during that time, including 21 draft picks. Brown was his seventh first-rounder."
"Producing that amount of next-level talent obviously starts with recruiting. Garner has proven his mastery of that time and time again. Auburn has signed nine five-star prospects since 2013, when Garner returned to his alma mater to join first-year head coach Gus Malzahn’s staff. Four of those have been defensive linemen — Brown, Montravius Adams, Carl Lawson and Byron Cowart (who transferred to Maryland after two seasons). All of them are on NFL rosters.
In all, Garner has helped the Tigers sign 38 defensive linemen over eight recruiting classes, or an average of nearly five per season. Twenty-seven of them were rated as four-star prospects or better. Four switched over to the offensive line while at Auburn and nine did not finish their college careers with the Tigers, but Garner has never once struggled to replenish talent up front."

Thought you wanted to discuss my fantasy land?
Word to the wise. I may not be young and I may not be in the cool kids group but I know football challenge me if you like but when I embarrass you take it like a man.
And when I'm talking speculation I always preface it by saying if it were me or my opinion is...
and finally for all the mobsters out there... FAR GUS

Results speak over fake recruiting rankings.

Won't be any cupcake game for Shivers to pump up his rushing stats this season.
It's sad that fans of a school which produced Carnell Williams, Ronnie Brown, Stephen Davis, Bo Jackson will now defend 6 carries for 29 yards as a productive player.

Not my words hence the quotation... Montgomery Advertiser article
But you're still wrong.
We have played one average SEC team and one of the top 2 in the conference. We have averaged giving up 20pts per game. Even with "poor" play on the DL we've still help up defensively.

Actually his stats are
131 carries 686 yards 5.2 yards per carry.
Even if he is listed as the starter he won't be carrying the ball 20 times a game. So stop acting like he's taking carries away from some proven stud running back.
I agree in the first game we shouldn't have called on him with the 3rd and 2 play but did he deserve the opportunity? You don't know that because you haven't been at practice.

I added a couple other NFL backs to reference as well.
Carnell – 5.2 yards per carry
Ronnie - 5.3 yards per carry
Stephen Davis – 5.8 yards per carry
Bo – 6.6 yards per carry
Tre Mason – 5.8 yards per carry
Kerryon Johnson – 4.8 yards per carry
Cameron Artis-Payne – 5.6 yards per carry
Ben Tate - 4.9 yards per carry
Shaun Shivers - 5.2 yards per carry
Hmmm I wonder if there was something different about that guy in the bold text.
You still want me to show your ignorance or bias... not sure which it is you have but there's you some more facts.

So why do.you keep.using that one stat to make your point? What do carries in blowout wins lie Arkansas and Mississippi State or cupcake games have to do with an STARTING sec rb? So he gets one carry for 8 yarsa and he has and 8 ypx average for that game and you act as if it is something to celebrate. You are a fricking idiot. This midget should not be playing for any other SEC team exceptfor one with a bias idiot coach like Gus. Keep cheering for the midget and his one decent play per game. Go back to Fambly and kiss him mom's arse too. Hopefully the next coach will process that waste of carries.

What other stat do you use to for a running back?
And obviously you concede the argument with lack of anything other then name calling
