The national championship was not on the line. Those losses did not stop LSU from winning its 2nd MNC in 5 years. We are well on our way to being crowned team of the decade.
And I never spoke badly of any other coach in the SEC. I think that is one of the beat things about SEC football, is the caliber of coaching is 2nd to none. No other conference is even close to the SEC in player talent or coaching talent.

Well everyone thought it was at the time. Same thing when OSU lost. It was the weirdest end of a season ever.
