I watched the entire game last night because my baby was up and I had nothing else to do cause sleep was impossible:
The only player on defense in the front 7 that really looks scary at all is #52. I can't remember his name. He was pretty disruptive in the first half but then disappeared for large stretches of the 2nd half.
Israel Mukuamu looks like he will be hurting a bit but should come back. That is big for South Carolina because once he went out things got bad for that defense especially in the secondary.
On offense, South Carolina had success running right, and passing to #13 Shai Smith. The only other offensive player with a pulse seems to be #17... and he was nothing special. The running backs were serviceable, but again, only really when they went to the right side. I don't know if that was because UT sucked to the right or if USCe was just better on that side.
It's a Bobo offense, so a lot of passes to the middle of the field and a lot of passes to RB coming out of the backfield.
The only legitimate threat to Florida that I see outside of FLorida turning it over a ton and beating themselves is Shai Smith. He could do to UF what Moore did from Ole Miss and keep it close if the coverage isn't any better.
But it looks from the most recent UF depth chart that Campbell, Stewart, and Moon are all back, and obviously Davis is back too, so the defense should be better.
UF has not excuses. They should beat this team. It's not one of the better USCe teams I have seen.

I'm glad you led with this because I'd never waste time watching another team's game. I hardly watch our games.

Remember that Tennessee basically didn’t practice for a couple weeks and only saw it’s 2 deep practice for a week in the last 6 weeks. For bunch of those guys it was the 1st scrimmage of the year. The guy covering (attempting) was a true freshman that hadn’t been in a game situation since highschool last year. I literally had more practice time in intramural football than Tennessee did before the SC game. Honestly I was shocked at how clean the game was because of that.
