I will say this though, Drink seems to love the college game and working with students athletes. I mean. The videos of him being fired up about recruits choosing MU seems genuine as hell. He’s pushed for facility upgrades. He seems invested as hell in bringing Natty spotlight back to us the likes we’ve not seen since Chase Daniel years.
I think it’s possible we can keep him 4-5 more years. With four daughters and his Mormon upbringing, you’d think he’d be thinking about stability as they grow up. He’s in the SEC now. MU would/should give him years to burn if he brings what I think he brings us.

I think he's with us until Jon Grudens contract expires with the Raiders.
The NFL is such a copycat league and young offensive minded college coaches seem to be the trend. I'm still amazed Rhule got the opportunity so quickly. But if a few crash and burn, then the NFL will move on to another trend.

If he fills the stadium, we can greatly increase his salary. 20,000 more fans per game gives a lot of wiggle room.
