Very surprised that Carl Tucker looks like a 3rd team TE. I thought he was going to be a superstar.

Your post is the only mention I've ever seen or heard of Tucker potentially being a superstar, but I've seen insiders say he'll be pretty good. He and all of the other backup TEs listed on the Depth Chart are likely to get meaningful playing time and contribute well. We don't have OJ Howard, but we are pretty solid and deep at TE:

TE -- Miller Forristall

Major Tennison OR Carl Tucker OR Jahleel Billingsley OR Cameron Latu

Tucker had 31 receptions over 4 years.

I highly doubt Shane Lee transfers. I think this is a situation where he sits for year or two, gets into shape, and then comes out to a solid junior/senior year. He was recruited at 243 lbs, so it's not like we weren't aware he was a brickhouse and the mental game is there.

Ben Davis taking four years to finally get a starting shot and he's rotational is something. For a recruit rated .9995, that's wild.
