Just seems that rules will favor an offense for awhile and then the rules committee puts in rules that will favor the defense to even it out then back again.

Right now with targeting rules favoring the offense you are seeing scores go through the roof. But, they are beginning to pull back on some of those rules and we will see things begin to shift again.

Just my opinion. I don't feel particularly strongly one way or the other, though.

Dont think we're gonna turn back. I think today's fans clearly favor high octane offenses and that translates into higher ratings and more money. I personally loved watching those defensive battles in the 70's and 80's and even our UGA team
from 2002 and there's far more strategy than folks realize in those games but I dont think I represent the majority of fans watching on TV.
