It is the realities of college football with dime and 7 DB packages.

Look at the great college teams. Count how many DBs deserve an honorable mention for All conference.

Then have an offense that forces 5 DBs at a minimum. 7 DBs at a maximum. How hard is it to target those weak links in the passing game with great college receivers.

Then look at all conference linebackers that have to sit on the sidelines.

Bama killed UGA in 2017 against our nickel defender. Moved the ball at will. Won the game by looking off a 3 star safety.

LSU got UGA into a 7 DB set. We had a ton of talented true freshmen out there. We got exposed.

Now image an injury or two to the secondary and what that does for a dime package
