Gene Chizick's career record at Auburn removing his 2010 season was 19-17 (7-17). Orgeron's career record at LSU removing his 2019 season has been 25-9 (15-7). Gene Chizick's last season at Auburn was 3-9 and winless in the SEC.

To be fair, removing 2010 leaves Chizik at 2-1 vs MSU; removing 2019 leaves Orgeron at 1-1 vs MSU.
