man, I hated Reggie Nelson.

I'd go with Bert Jones for LSU this year. Although, you wouldn't have to dig too deep.
If I'm required to go with someone six feet under, I'd say Eric Andolsek, just cuz he was A MAN.

LSU's lkine is fine. But about Eric.
I lifted with him at LaRousses's in Thibodaux, a couple times my junior and senior years at Nicholls. I hung out a couple times at the Foundry as well.
NO matter how much I lifted, he usually could lift that same weight three times!!!
Andy could have played in this era easily.
Only a handful can say that. Andy played his senior year at 278. With todays' conditioning techniques, he could have played at 300 plus.
I knew him and his brother Andy as well.
He IS an LSU standard.
His family as well. God bless them.
