Their strength and Conditioning was never an issue with Bama players. Anyone who throws Cochran under the bus is just looking for an alibi.

There are about 8 years worth of threads on players getting too big and slow for their positions and/or a lack of injury prevention.

Cochran was truly a good guy and valued asset to the program, but more so from a resiliency standpoint. He kept players heads in the game and staying at Bama. But, his strength program focused on building monsters... no matter how slow those monsters became.

The new guys maximize human potential in relation to desired skillsets and positions. It is a whole new ball game. Very excited to see it materialize

I don’t think anyone is throwing him under the bus. He did great for us and we are grateful. It was just time for a change with him and Bama
