The whole discussion of "blue bloods" in nonsensical.
There are traditional "powers" in no particular order:
Alabama, Notre Dame, USC, tOSU, OU, Texas, Nebraska, LSU, UGa, Tennessee, Michigan, Penn State, Auburn. These are programs that have achieved over many decades. They may have experienced down periods but they eventually regain their mojo. I would add Miami, FSU, Florida and Clemson when the past 30-40 years are considered.
