How much money do regular students bring to the universities? What is their economic value to the universities? You are being myopic.

A SHITLOAD.Lets see, what exactly is the average annual cost for a student at an SEC school?

Lets say the average is 40k per year with an enrollment of 20k undergrads/grad students.Comes to about $800 million annually.Hell, bring that cost number down to 30K or even 20k if you like. Its still 100's of millions of dollars.

I have no idea

But we all have a very good idea of how much Money the 100 FB & MBB Players bring in, not to mention the free TV exposure and "Goodwill" that they generate for the University

Why not just admit the obvious, Revenue Athletes are different from regular students

There's no way that 85 regular Undergrads could combine to do ANYTHING ON THIS PLANET that could result in an Academic Dept Head earning $9million dollars per year, if that doesn't show you how different these Revenue Athletes are, then nothing will

Just ran the numbers for ole miss and it’s roughly 285 million off tuition alone.
