Former LSU AD Joe Dean, with decades of experience in & around the SEC, once called former football HC Gerry DiNardo the most intelligent HC he ever met. He graduated with multiple high honors from N.Dame. DiNardo was a horrible HC, at Vany & LSU.

THis just isnt true.

He did pretty damn good at LSU compared to his predecessor. And he laid the foundation for success that got Saban to want the job.

There's no way Saban would have left Michigan State for the LSU that Hallman left.

DiNardo's problem wasn't his coaching or recruiting. He was just an overall terrible person! He didn't know how to talk to and relate to anyone! A true POS!
