Belichick doesnt take a flyer on guys without doing his diligence. He knows what Cam can do and he will win immediately. The "Patriot Way" is perfect for him. I cant wait to watch this board when Cam tears it up with the Pats this year.

that's exactly what he did in this case, because of muh covid the patriots where unable to bring cameltoe newtonhiemer into their team facilities to be examined by their team doctors. that's why they signed him to a league MINIMUM contract and he won't get that unless he makes the 55 man roster after camp.
if they were taking a flyer on cameltoe there would have been a signing bonus, not one single dollar of his contract is guaranteed. he got the exact same deal as brian hoyer. let that sink in!
i'd look for bryan hoyer to be the starter and cameltoe to be waived.
