Time to remove the name of George H. Denney from the U of A

The man oversaw the university during a time that black people were not allowed to attend the University.
the fact that the great players from the University of Alabama play in a Stadium named after a man that would not allow black people into his university is an absolute and utter disgrace.
Now is the time to fix this obvious mistake in history.
Best of luck to the good people from the great state of Alabama.

If this attitude is indeed the best way to proceed, then why did the former confederates, & segregationists create the Monuments to start with, why didn't they just "get over it"?

WTF is wrong with LSU fans. This is around the tenth type of post I've seen calling out another university for this stupid shite. And it always seems to be either Bama or Clemson. It's not a good look.

Actually George Hutchison Denny is responsible for the legacy of a large Jewish student population at Alabama, particularly from Manhattan/New England. In 1932 Alabama, there were four Jewish fraternities, two Jewish sororities and one Italian fraternity.
He saw the importance of having a national football program and marketed the university in New York/New England area newspapers and magazines as a great alternative to schools up north.
It's not uncommon to run into a student at Alabama from New York/New England area and them tell you they are legacies and their family has been going to Alabama for a century.
