I thought barmore was an animal. Unblockable. Why didn't he see more starts or at least more snaps?
He was an animal when he was, he also committed a bunch of penalties and jumped wrong gaps a lot. Young guy who hasn't become consistent yet.

What's the deal with mathis?
Just hasn't developed into anything more than a rotational guy.

Even with all the injuries on the DL and him being one of older Dlinemen he can't get any starts. Just not good enough?
We missed on both backers and DL in that 2017/2018 group, so guys like Tevita Muska (who wasn't a SEC player) ended up getting snaps.

From the roster you provided there were six LBs available with more experience than a TrFr. Some of those guys had to be ILBs? Couldn't an OLB have moved inside?
Most of those guys were pure outside guys - Allen, Jennings, Lewis. Benton did move inside some, but he was pretty much a total disaster. Kaho showed signs, but he basically didn't practice his entire 1st year due to health, so developmentally he was more like a true freshman. Moody was a last minute signing when we whiffed on a bunch of backers.

C Allen played in all 13 games. How bad was his injury?
He was clearly not the same guy - very stiff.
Bottom line - it was a melting pot of issues. Lots of recruiting misses/getting beat in 17/18 for guys, injuries, some guys that didn't develop. It was a perfect recipe for disaster.

First world problems when an 11-2 record is considered "a disaster."
