Florida won the East 2 of the previous 3 years, and only won 4 games in 2017 due to half their damn starters being suspended for that credit card fiasco.


Pruitt inherited a squad that had a losing streak to all 13 SEC schools. There is no comparison whatsoever between the two, no matter how much stock you want to put into a clearly flawed metric like talent composite.

This is a terrible take tbh

It implies that the reason we went from four wins in 2017 to ten wins in 2018 was solely getting Jordan Scarlett and Ventrell Miller back

Our program was chaos when Mullen inherited it as well, but Mullen was an experienced coach who knew from the start how to scheme his way to beating inferior rosters

No shade at Pruitt but Mullen absolutely did a better job of getting the most out of their inherited rosters, but that was to be expected given their amount of experience, and that's not saying anything about their long-term ceilings
