Season ticket sales will not be automatically back filled like they have in the past. You can bet you bottom dollar ticket demand will dramatically drop over the next 5 years because the Baby Boomers will stop buying season tickets. Follow that up with weaker interest and smaller cohort size of the Gen-X crowd, and certainly diminished interest from the Millennials.

Put the head trauma cherry on top, causing a degradation in the talent level and voila... you’ve got a bunch of empty stadiums.

All these collegiate stadiums could eventually look like Rice’s on any given Fall Saturday - big and empty.
