This team is absolutely talented enough to go all the way. We now have a true #2 wide receiver! The missing piece. Differing opinions and arguments will not derail the season. The team will rally around Brees. They already have. It sounds that some of you here on Saints Talk want the Saints to fail!

going to have to score more than 20 points at home during the playoffs to pull it off though.

Edit: the last three point totals in playoff games at the Dome.

20- W
23- L
20- L

so it can be done with twenty but i don't think thats going to cut the mustard most of the time in todays game.

If Anzalone can stay healthy like he did in 18 the defense can be lights out.

No fricking way… The racial undercurrents will hamstring this team to an 8-8 season...if that..... All business no passion.

If they choose to kneel they need to do it in the middle of the field before the game or after the game, but never during the National anthem. The flag represents a UNITED STATES. The entire country was united when they saw what the cop did to GF.
It did not matter what color the cop was that did the act. The black life does matter regardless of the color of the person that killed GF. The country was united.
The protestors have divided the country. They took a horrible event that united the country and are now dividing the country when they steal, loot, and destroy other people;s property.
Where are the people protesting the death of David Dorn? Does his life not matter because his death was caused by protestors? What about the more than 60 blacks shot and killed in Chicago this year? The over 5000 blacks shot and killed by blacks in 2019? Their lives mattered too. Why are they primarily protesting the cops? Why do they ignore how many lives the cops save each year?

When you kneel in front of the flag during the national anthem you are for the division of our country. If you do not know this, then re-evaluate your education. Kneeling before the game after the game at half-time is fine, and most people will support it. Kneeling at the flag sends a message to many people that the kneeler is for the division of our country and against a United States.
There are ways to send a message, and if you want people to listen, then do not offend them with offensive acts.

A person can choose to kneel at the flag, but their act will offend many people, and those people offended have a right to feel that way. Who has the right to tell them they do not have the right to be offended by that act?

I hope they crash and burn.

If they win, our team leaders will take that opportunity to remind every non-black that they are racist.

Every player and coach can go frick themselves. I hope they go 0-16.

Bring back the bags.

I do especially brees. he's a total coward. he wilted when a leader was needed. he could have helped turn this crap around.

now he's paying money to the very people who are destroying the country. YOU ARE EITHER WITH US OR AGAINST US AND BREES IS NOW AGAINST US.

One of the things made clear the last three months has been the need for sports in American society.

Funny how Rome knew this 2,000 years ago.

And yes on both points OP.

1. I don't care anymore.
2. The NFL, the Saints and the players are all dead to me.
3. The NBA is dead to me.

They can go undefeated, and I won't watch a minute of it. They have lost me, permanently.

I am done with it all. Fantasy (I was in 5 leagues), going to games, buying the gear, watching the games, being invested, caring what happened - ALL GONE. I no longer care. The players have revealed their true colors. They despise the our country, middle class values and have no respect for the people that support their garbage sports leagues. My patience and my wallet have had enough.

Good riddance.

I'm pretty conservative with my preseason predictions. I'll say 12-4 or 11-5.

I've said the same exact thing for the last 2 years as well.

If we don't have the best roster in the league, then it's 2nd. We're loaded this year. Might be the best roster we've ever had.
