Is that why people watched in the 50’s and 60’s?
College football has been popular since it was literally frat kids at Ivy’s playing.
People aren’t going to stop caring about LSU v Alabama and start caring about Jackson State v Grambling regardless of who’s on which team. There’s no rooting interest.
