Because it was a joke, obviously.

Curious as to why the Coach's SEC Freshman of the year failed to make any postseason Freshman all-american list, interesting omission. Seems like another certain SEC freshman did, in fact making any one you look at by comparison. In fact, he was a flat out consensus all-american, yet what accolades did Nix get besides SEC Freshman of the year from the coaches?

Literally sucked arse the whole game but because your defense was elite got the opportunity to win the game in the end.

Does he not plan on playing good teams this upcoming season, because he stunk in almost all those games last year and at best was mediocre.

quote:

Bo Nix 2019
217/377 2542 yards 16 TD/6 INT
Joe Burrow 2018
219/379 2894 yards 16 TD/5 INT

One was a junior and one was a freshman.

Good try leaving out important things like I did above such as performance against Ranked teams.

Nix - 101 for 199, 50.8%, 1073 yards, 5.4 ypa, 7 TD, 6 INT, 101.6 QB Rating
Burrow - 98 for 171, 57.3%, 1240 yards, 7.3 ypa, 7 TD, 4 INT, 127.1 QB Rating

So Burrow's numbers against the teams that mattered were still easily better overall throwing for a much higher percentage and more yards despite 1 less game and much less passes. That was in the ancient offense as well, not the one we have installed now. And FYI, nobody is arguing Burrow's numbers were good in 2018, so not sure why that's your arguing point. Nix was garbage against the good teams last season.

So again I'll continue to ask, why would Sandberg stick around considering they are the same class if Nix sucks it up again this year and he doesnt get a shot?
