Speaking out and posting on social media is important

False.

All that does is make YOU feel better and possibly con people into lavishing praise for how "enlightened" and "woke" you are.

I’d bet Coach Buzz partially agrees with you (though he’s a social media using fool!).
The remainder of that particular sentence you reference infers as much.

That said, the generation behind us (and the one after them) communicates almost exclusively via social media.
As much as I loathe it, kids and young adults subsist on it.

The only reason it's important is because enough people would have held him accountable for not posting to social media about the topic.

There are many people who have observed in their day to day, and continue to do so, the very minor racial biases against Black Americans. Minor biases that are persistent enough to build the frustration that has ultimately been unleashed thru the death of George Floyd. Non-headlining type stuff.

The grossly apologetic, guilty, and otherwise tone deaf social media posts, as Buzz deems necessary, are from folks who have never posted about those minor biases or even a damn thing regarding racism America. Being a virtue signaling arse hole does not contribute to a solution.
