You stated that "Guyger broke in" but I always thought she just walked in, drunk, and assumed she was in her own apartment.
That would be something in line with this latest killing.
If her story was true, I'd think most people would've gotten a similar sentence.

Which would be close to the average amount of a sentence people in Texas serve(58%).
