Buddy...two years after our NC we experienced the worst season in Auburn’s history. It wasn’t just that we lost, it was the way we lost. Horrible player conduct issues including frightening crimes. Being down 49-0 to multiple opponents before the fourth quarter. Players goofing off and dancing on the sidelines when down by 3-4 touchdowns in the first half. Little to no positivity for the future of the program.

The idea that we just didn’t like that we weren’t winning NCs by 2012 is a terrible and baseless implication.

Chizik lost that team. Never seen anything like it. Somebody had to go, coaches or the players. We chose correctly.

Chizik is a good DC and commentator. He still lives in Auburn and is well liked in the community, but 2012 took goat-roping to a new level and a level I hope we never see again, anywhere.
