You cited...0 examples of a player leaving because they didn't start as a true freshman.

Because it's a dumb decision.

You really want a list of all the guys who have transferred very early recently?

Hunter Johnson, Jacob Eason, Justin Fields, Tate Martell, the list goes on and on.

And for everyone that did transfer a bunch of other guys considered it closely.

Let’s not pretend like Mac Jones doesn’t have two years of eligibility. If Young isn’t the guy this year the odds are at best 50-50 he isn’t here next fall.

Yeah, specifically ones that leave because they don't win the job as true freshman.

Hunter Johnson

Got beat out after spring football. Did not leave because he didn't start as a true freshman, but because he was passed up by others.

Jacob Eason

Transfered after 2 years. Oddly enough, did start as true freshman, but got injured and passed up.

Justin Fields

Stuck behind another 5 star with eligibility in a system that didn't suit him.

Tate Martell

Transferred after 2 years.

Still waiting for 1 QB who left because he didn't win the starting job as a true freshman.

If Mac Jones beats him out for 2 years, then he's over hyped and should go somewhere else.
