According to the CDC if only one shot is taken you have 7% chance to still get the measles, if both shots were taken you have a 3% chance to still get the measles. Mayo Clinic and John Hopkins report the same as well.

Also understand I was part of the first cohort in the US to receive the combined MMR vaccinations. Prior to that you took them separate. It it reported that then there was a failure rate close to 5% on the vaccinations which I assume has improved over time. I also was dealing with an immune deficiency issue they believe caused the second round within 6 months of assuming treated and cured of the 1st round. I was hospitalized at this point dealing with it among other things.
