Better yet, please tell us what makes you think Kirby is better than O when comparing the jobs they've done at LSU and UGA.

Why are you cherry picking years? Is the question which coach has had a better career or which has had a better season? Smart has been more consistent throughout his career. Oregon’s best season is better than Kirby’s best season.

Because comparing Smart at Georgia to Orgeron at Ole Miss is something only Georgia fans so they can feel better about Smart.

Here's the numbers for their current jobs (which is all that really matters right now anyway):

Kirby Smart

Georgia record (2016 – present): 44-12

Career record against SEC opponents: 26-10

Ed Orgeron

LSU record (2016 [interim], 2017 [full-time] – current): 40-9

Career record against SEC opponents: 23-7 at LSU

I'm not. CEO is the coach at LSU, why would you confound the question (Ranking the SEC football coaches: 2020 edition) with irrelevant data from over a decade ago?

Well, CEO has a Natty and Kirby doesn't, so the answer to both of those questions is CEO. If you want to look back at irrelevant wins/losses from CEO's time at OM, that's your prerogative, but it makes you look like you're swimming in a giant pool of Kirby/UGA koolaid.
