For sure. However, O is objectively better at this point in his current job. There's nothing wrong with being happy with Kirby even though he isn't as successful as O.
LSU fans were happy with Miles at one time even though he was #2 to Saban and #3 to Saban and Meyer.

Based on what? Championships? Yes, but then he’s only as good as Chizik, which I don’t thinks the case. In terms of career winning percentage or record against top 10 opponents Kirby has the edge. There’s no definitive way to answer the question, especially since O has coached longer.
