Duke is not in the SEC. Not sure why this was posted on this board.
Now that Zion is getting paid, he can afford a lawyer and will likely never be on record admitting anything.
The NCAA wants to avoid dealing with the college bball mess as much as possible and will not act based on anything that has come up so far.

I believe his former agent is trying to get information out of him via a civil suit she's filed. So it's possible he may have to answer in court, which would give the NCAA access.
That'll likely be a long ways down the road as this will get drug out.

To be honest, I know absolutely nothing about the topic. I don't even know who the frick Zion is.
But, the NCAA does not have subpoena power. You don't need a lawyer to not go on the record. You can just tell them to frick off.
The only source of power they have over people is they can remove eligibility.
