It would be very difficult for any coach to win the SEC or natty in football here.The SEC is as strong now as it's ever been and our state doesn't produce a world of talent like our neighbors do.
We can be a spoiler,which is our history,but toe to toe we don't match up.
As far as Petrino is concerned,I could see a Lou Holtz type of career here.Offensive genius who didn't recruit well and petered out.
Our best success came from coaches who loved and embraced our program,Broyles,Hatfield and Nutt.
Pittman,though I didn't know it,has a love and respect of our program since his youth.There's no doubt in my mind that he will pour all that is in him to make this program respectable again.
Whether it happens or not,it won't be from lack of effort.
Go Hogs.

Yeah that's why I think Pittman will be better even if yall could've gotten Kiff. Definitely pulling for the Hogs to be a consistent winner again soon, one of my favorite SEC programs

It is only as easy or difficult as you make it. Everything else is an excuse or loser talk. If you want to win, it will be done, if you think it is too hard or almost impossible then it will mostly likely never be done. Who wants to think like that? A fan should never give up and I won't and have not.
What you hire is what you hire and you are what your record says you are. Hire a good coach and you get good results or hire a Houston Nutt and be 7-5. You get whatever effort you put into and we have slacked off and made excuses for 30 years.
Our state doesn't produce talent because students in the little rock metro no longer play football and are under coached or underdeveloped. You have more underdeveloped talent in Little Rock Metro than the whole state of Oklahoma. But yet it is wasted year after year.
We have won over 700 games after 30 years of chicken shite. With 13 SWC titles that is not a spoiler but a contender for a good part of its history. Spoilers are not in that category. We were able to go to toe toe and win it in 64 and should be given the one in 78. We came close in other years, we have proven we could match up.
