I think the problem for Saban there was a) scholarship reductions b) hard to shake the "little brother" perception to UM. When Saban got to Bama in 2007, I believe y'all were already back to full strength as far as scholarships, just very inexperienced and yet he nearly beat a veteran LSU team, that's when ppl should've realized how far Miles was in over his head

Plaxico is why Saban still prohibits freshmen from talking to the media.
