The Walton family has stepped back from supporting sports. Which is a shame. They do pump a lot of money into academics and in area development though.

Now we still have quite a bit of money backing our sports, but the problem is that they aren't really the best judge of who to hire. For instance big money donors lined up behind Chad Morris and railroaded him into being hired.
