Hadnt seen it in a while on here. With the season approaching, how are things breaking down.
And take off the bias-glasses boys..
1. Tim Tebow (Florida): Heisman winner. Beast.
2. Matthew Stafford (Georgia): Cannon Arm. Amazing size.
3. Jonathan Crompton (Tennessee): Showed a lot of promise in spot duty. I like him with the Vols this season.
4. Kodi Burns (Auburn): Maybe we are hyping him too much, but he looked damn good making things happen in the Bowl Game. And anything is better than noodle arm Cox.
5. Jevan Snead (Ole Miss): My breakthrough pick. Kid is crazy good. Texas set him back, but this is his season. Watch out Colt..
6. John Parker Wilson (Alabama): I should rank him last...but maybe he shows redemption this season. He has to make it happen or Tidenation will melt.
7. Wesley Carroll (Mississippi State): Since Miss St isnt allowed to have a good QB, he should hand it to Dixon every play and he will have a stellar season. Can he get 8 wins again?
8. Jarrett Lee (LSU): No comment. I think he is a beast, but i cant speak on his behalf without being bias. Plus, hes never even taken a snap. At least Hatch run on Midd Tenn State..
9. Chris Nickson (Vanderbilt): Another Burns type, minus good players around him. Can move everywhere.
10. Chris Smelley (South Carolina): I loved USC when they signed Smelley. But then he was pitiful in back up duty, and then he cried on HDTV. Tough to come back from that..
11. Casey Dick (Arkansas): Man they wish that QB situation would be better. It looked promising for a second...
12. Curtis Pulley (Kentucky): can Woodson come back again?

You are an idiot!! I have no prob with you being an LSU homer, But JPW in the second season under Saban WILL BE BETTER!! You put an AU frosh QB ahead of him!! HOw dumb are you???

1) Tebow cried too.
2) Smelley is technically not even our starter right now and Garcia is expected to be back by the time the season starts.
3) Right now SC has a clusterfrick of QB ?s so Im not even sure if any can be ranked even at 9

better for him is not saying much
he couldnt lead a team to victory over ULM, even with Hall returning at half
Im just being real. The guy is not that great of a QB.
And Burns brings a lot to the table, so putting an AU SOPH QB ahead of him doesnt seem that dumb to me. Its a little dumb, but not that dumb.
I see streaks of Cambell/V Young in Burns. Throwing for 2000 and running for 1000 in HS, especially as a JR, is solid.
Rumor has it kid can throw the ball about 70 yards as well.
Arm Strength + Legs + Vision = Better than JPW

tebow won a heisman..and he saves the world.

He should have thanked our defense at the award ceremony

Again if the season started today he would not be the starter.. though I think he would have to come in quickly after Beecher.

No.. Ryan Perriloux is a lunatic.. Garcia is just crazy

don't worry about that ranter of a Penn St. fan. I couldn't even tell you who their QB is at all.

He has talent, but he hasn't played in two seasons. Plus, I'm curious to see what kind of passing offense Nutt will implement. Will he ease Snead in, or will he just give him free reigns?...I'm thinking he'll just let him make plays b/c they don't have much else on that roster (and they have a decent group of veteran receivers).

Haven't Really Seen Jevan Play.
My Folks In Austin Said He Is Pretty Good.

lol Kodi Burns @ #4? I thought Qbs had to actually be able to throw the ball. Put JPW wherever you want, just don't put Burns at #4.

There is only one proven QB in the SEC. I'm still not sold on Stafford.
Posted on 7/11/08 at 8:37 am to SirRohantheDefender
I get the prediction, but Casey Dick should be higher...especially over those who have never stepped on an SEC field

Tebow and Stafford are the two best QB's in the league right now...
That may change when the new season rolls around...

^^^^^^
No, you are correct @ Tebow and Stafford. They are hands down the guys you would want under center.
I personally don't get the Crumpton love, but he has so many athletes around him, he almost has to succeed.
I COMPLETELY understand the UK QB dig on Pulley, however, Hartline may end up running the show unless Joker wants a running QB with our solid backfield and entire returning O-Line.
