When asked by a reporter if he would allow SEC teams to play in the NCAAT if it goes on as scheduled, he said yes.
If we're going to do that, why did we cancel the SECT (and other conference tournaments)? What's the difference?

Yes and he was coordinating with the other commissioners on what to do.
The decision wasn't made by Sankey alone.
