My kids schools here were already closed for 3 weeks, including their spring break. Now the state shut all schools down for 2 weeks if they were not already closing. Every activity suspended in the state.
The CDC is now recommending all schools nation wide be closed for 8 weeks.
One town near me has banned handshakes.

Two more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Jefferson County (so 3 total now), according to the Jefferson County Department of Health.
For some reason the Alabama Dept. of Public Health isn't keeping the numbers updated on their website.
