Tarleton State and New Mexico added to future schedule for ‘25 and ‘27

We’ll play Tarleton State on 11/22/25 and we’ll play New Mexico on 9/18/27.

I guess everyone in the SEC should be embarrassed then. We play an FCS opponent yearly. It is what it is.

Tarleton is an A&M system school in Stephenville. Been there a loooooong time. If we are going to have an FCS team on the schedule, may as well help out one of our own

Can't argue with that. If we're going to schedule FCS, why not help our own. Just not a fan of scheduling FCS (though they'd probably be D1 next year if the WAC still had football).
I know everyone does it, but I'm not a fan. There are plenty of more "respected or better known" patsys, but I know scheduling can be difficult at times.
