JT has only used 1 year of eligibility and would either need the "one time transfer rule" to pass or USC decide not to play football this year, to be eligible. Kid was a stud coming out of high school and started before tearing his ACL last year
Pretty sure he has a big trojan tattoo as well
ETA: Croot - he started as a True Freshman, but tore his ACL in the first game last year, so got the redshirt. It's interesting because he could graduate next year and be eligible for immediate transfer anyways for 2021 season. Something is weird, because why not compete for the starting job this year at USC and if you don't get it, then your eligible to play in 2021 anyways

So Newman for 2020, Daniels for 2021, and Vandagriff/Beck for 2022-2023, I guess. Which is still a good situation as long as it doesn’t scare Vandagriff off
